Pastor Lynn Kilbourne came to NLR First United Methodist Church in July, 2016. Before coming to NLR FUMC, she served churches in Conway and Bryant. She began her ministry in the Arkansas Annual Conference in 2009 and serves as the 2016 Clergywomen Convener and on the Episcopacy Committee, the Board of Ordained Ministry, and the Board of Directors for the United Methodist Foundation of Arkansas.
She was born and raised in Arkansas, and graduated from White Hall High School in 2001. Following high school she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Henderson State University in 2006 and a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC in 2009.
Pastor Lynn and her husband, Nathan, have one daughter, Eleanor. At home she enjoys playing and dancing with Eleanor, binge watching TV shows with Nathan, reading without falling asleep, baking, eating baked goods, Duke Basketball, playing with our Scottish terrier, Maggie, and trying to be a runner. On any given Thursday night, you can find Lynn and Nathan going out to eat in search of a new favorite restaurant.
She loves the Church and has a passion for helping others to know that God’s love is for them. Her greatest goal in life is to live a life that is worthy of the calling God has placed on her life.
